About Us
Mark Smith founded MSE in 1977, starting with just himself and a truck. He built a solid reputation through loyalty and hard work. In 2003, his son Jared joined the company post-college, expanding the business while focusing on mentoring skilled employees and teaching the electrical trade. MSE is based in northeast Ohio and specializes in wiring multi-family units, single-family homes, and commercial projects of all sizes.
Jared and Brianna bought Mark Smith Electric in 2017 from his parents. They’ve continued to grow the business from the ideals that they learned from the founding owners Mark and Cheryl Smith. Today they run an average crew size of 10-15 employees with over 50 years of experience on staff. Mark Smith Electric continues to believe in finding the next generation of electricians to learn this valuable trade as well as being fully committed to providing top level service and workmanship that Mark built the company on.
We serve the following counties: Wayne, Holmes, Ashland, Richland, Summit, Stark, Portage, Medina, Cuyahoga, Lorain and Tuscawaras.
